#ProjectSchools is a registered Non Profit Company (NPC) and is run by a board of directors that consists of five people.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS...
manages the day-to-day business of #ProjectSchools.
After meeting the minimum criteria, our youth workers are hand-picked by the board. They are then placed in schools all over South Africa with a support system of their own (Coaches and Mentors).
Each of our youth workers are also encouraged to become part of their school in their own unique way - group activities, helping out in classrooms etc.
DID YOU KNOW?
Each youth worker is expected to write a report after meeting with any student at their schools.

When cases are too extreme for our youth workers to handle they are escalated to the right persons.
This will mostly vary between a Psychologist, Pastor and Social worker
HOW YOU CAN HELP US
Since 2016 #Projectschools has been an NPC that is registered as a SARS Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) with a Section 18A Certificate. This is beneficial as it could reduce individual or company tax.
You can now donate to #Projectschools and claim the donation back from your yearly tax returns.

Why are we asking for your donation?
#Projectschool Youth Workers receive a monthly salary for their work at the Schools. We do not burden our local schools with the salaries of our Youth Workers.
#Projectschools are solely responsible for paying these salaries. The board of directors do not receive any income from #Projectschools – they volunteer their time and effort into the dream of #Projectschools.
